Texas A&M football coach Mike Elko shared an update regarding linebacker Daymion Sanford. Sanford, who is recovering from a serious fibula injury, has not yet played this season. Elko indicated Sanford's early recovery gives hope for a return soon, possibly by the Kentucky game on Wednesday or more likely against LSU the following Saturday. In Sanford's absence, linebacker duo Noah Mikhail and Ray Coney have started, with Mikhail performing particularly well in the first two games.
