Mike Fordham takes over as ILT20 interim chief operating officer

The International League T20 has named Mike Fordham as its interim Chief Operating Officer. He replaces outgoing chief executive David White, who is returning to New Zealand after holding the position since September 2023. Fordham previously served as the league’s Head of Operations, a role he held since the tournament's launch in 2022. He is now responsible for the execution of the league's upcoming fifth season, which is scheduled to take place in the UAE across November and December. The competition will feature six teams playing 34 matches at three separate venues. Following his appointment, Fordham highlighted the importance of the ILT20 Development Tournament for emerging UAE talent. Preparation continues for the season as the league works to finalize squad compositions through an upcoming player auction.
