Mike LaFleur names Jacoby Brissett as starting quarterback for Week 8

Arizona Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur confirmed Jacoby Brissett will start at quarterback for Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys. This decision comes after the Cardinals' 30-16 loss to the Denver Broncos, marking their 10th consecutive home defeat. Despite Brissett’s struggles, LaFleur opts to retain him, indicating that rookie Carson Beck's debut is still uncertain. The Cardinals, now 2-5 in the season, face challenges on offense that include a lack of vertical passing and emerging issues within their roster. LaFleur has emphasized the need for improved play, particularly in exploiting the strengths of players like Bam Knight and Michael Wilson.
