Mike Macdonald's comments create intrigue for Seahawks-Patriots opener
Summary

Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald's recent comments around Super Bowl advice are drawing attention as the Seahawks prepare for their season opener against the New England Patriots on September 9. Macdonald named Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh as a source of advice but left unnamed a second adviser, hinting at a potential conflict of interest. The Seahawks defeated the Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX, a game marked by strong defensive performance that prevented New England from scoring until the fourth quarter. As both teams head into the rematch, the dynamics have shifted with the Patriots aiming to adapt to Seattle’s successful Super Bowl strategy.
