Mike McCarthy identified as Coach of the Year candidate for Steelers

Mike McCarthy has been named a potential Coach of the Year candidate by NFL analyst Bucky Brooks. The recognition comes as McCarthy embarks on his first season as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brooks notes that McCarthy, a Super Bowl-winning coach, has an opportunity to elevate the Steelers' performance after the team plateaued under former coach Mike Tomlin. If McCarthy successfully guides the Steelers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is in the later stages of his career, back into Super Bowl contention, he could solidify his standing in the Coach of the Year conversation.
