Mike McCready performs National Anthem at the Seattle Seahawks season opener

Pearl Jam lead guitarist Mike McCready will perform the National Anthem prior to the opening kickoff. The event features a celebration for the team's Super Bowl LX championship, which includes the raising of the franchise's title banner. McCready is also scheduled to perform during the halftime show alongside Soundgarden and Taylor Momsen. The Seahawks enter the matchup as slight favorites following their victory over the Patriots in the most recent Super Bowl.
