Mike Onwenu of the New England Patriots has been ranked ninth among the NFL's top guards by Pro Football Focus as the team continues its training camp. This ranking comes after Onwenu was omitted from ESPN's list of top 10 interior offensive linemen, which was released three weeks earlier. Onwenu's durability and strong performance last season, where he logged the most snaps among offensive linemen, contributed to the higher ranking by PFF. He provided a steady presence on the line and played a key role during the Patriots' recent Super Bowl run. Fellow guard Alijah Vera-Tucker also received recognition, landing 20th in PFF's rankings, suggesting a potentially strong guard pairing for the upcoming season.
