Rumors are hot that Mike Santana is heading to sign with WWE. Santana dropped the TNA World Championship to Nic Nemeth at Slammiversary on Sunday. That led to curiosity if Santana’s time is over in the Impact Zone. Would TNA have plans for Santana to appear Thursday night on Impact? The answer is no. Santana did not appear on Impact (airing July 2, 2026; filmed on July 1, 2026) from Albany, New York. TNA didn’t even mention Santana on the injury report. Being that the Slammiversary finish definitely warranted a health update in storyline, it was conspicuous by its absence.
