It was one week ago that former TNA World Champion Mike Santana teased out his next move by simply posting a date to social media: July 15. Well, that date is today and his newest update came in the form of yet another post on social media. This time it was a video: pic.twitter.com/lbDJxah70L — Mike SANTANA🇵🇷 (@Santana_Proud) July 15, 2026 The easy read here is that it’s simply an emotional goodbye to TNA as he has officially wrapped up his run there. But there may be more to read into it. He’s a New York guy, born in the city and billed from the Bronx, but it’s hard not to notice one of the closing shots is Santana entering an arena in New York — granted, it’s the UBS Arena, but still — configured for a pro wrestling show just before he says “Undesirable to undeniable. The marathon continues, like Nipsey said. The marathon continues.” WWE is, of course, in New York for Saturday Night’s Main Event this coming weekend. The two aren’t necessarily connected but it’s hard to ignore the timing here. Plus, all rumors have pointed to Santana heading to WWE now that he’s free and clear to sign wherever. Stay tuned.
