Mike Trout returns to the Los Angeles Angels lineup after being activated from the injured list. Scheduled to play in the second game of a road series against the Texas Rangers, this could mark Trout's first All-Star Game appearance since 2019. He was previously named to the All-Star team in 2021-2023 but missed those events due to injuries. Trout's latest absence was due to a right hamstring strain he suffered on June 17 while running to first base. He has hit 17 home runs with a.866 OPS this season, putting him on track for a potential milestone performance at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia next Tuesday.
