Virginia Tech head coach Mike Young signed a one-year contract extension at the end of July, securing his position through the 2027-28 season. The agreement includes a $3 million annual salary and adjusted buyout terms. Young, who has led the program for seven seasons, holds a 124-98 overall record but has not achieved a winning record in ACC play over the last four years.
