Mikkel Eriksen, a New York Rangers prospect, scored his first goal in the Swedish Hockey League while playing for Färjestad BK on Saturday. After being loaned to Mora IK, he was called back to Färjestad and positioned as a winger. His decisive goal came late in a close match against HV71. Other Rangers prospects, including Rico Gredig and Tomáš Chrenko, showed promise with assists and extended point streaks. Gredig contributed to a win for EV Zug but faced a loss against Geneve-Servette. Chrenko's three-game point streak ended as HK Nitra attempts to improve its standings.
