AC Milan is reportedly nearing an agreement to sign Diego Moreira from RC Strasbourg for approximately €50 million. This move comes after negotiations with RB Leipzig stalled. The 22-year-old Belgium international, who has previously been linked to a transfer to Roma, is primarily a left winger but also plays on the right. Milan's involvement is facilitated by agent Jorge Mendes, with plans for medical tests underway. Moreira has contributed five goals and nine assists for Strasbourg in the past season and recently earned his fourth cap for Belgium.
- •Milan aims to finalize the deal before the end of the transfer window.
- •Moreira previously had a buy-back clause retained by Chelsea.
- •He has four senior caps for Belgium, after representing Portugal at youth level.
- •Milan's swift action follows stalled talks with RB Leipzig.
