Milan targets Goncalo Inacio in January transfer window

AC Milan is reportedly focusing on acquiring Goncalo Inacio from Sporting CP for around €40 million. The clubs were close to a deal at the end of the summer transfer window, but Sporting opted to retain the defender due to difficulties in finding a replacement. Milan's coach, Ruben Amorim, who previously worked with Inacio, is eager for the player to join the team. The Rossoneri are looking to address their defensive depth despite having strengthened the backline with Mario Gila from Lazio earlier this season. Milan is expected to make a renewed effort to sign Inacio in January.
