Millwall reach agreement with Montpellier for winger Yanis Issoufou

Millwall FC have secured an agreement with Montpellier HSC to acquire winger Yanis Issoufou. The Championship club will pay a transfer fee of €2.5 million for the 19-year-old. Issoufou, a product of the Nîmes Olympique academy, joined Montpellier in 2022 and has made 31 professional appearances for the club. He recorded four goals and three assists during his tenure there. While Schalke 04 previously led the pursuit for the player, Issoufou is now expected to finalize his move to London shortly. Montpellier originally resisted the sale but ultimately permitted his departure following a string of substitute appearances this season.
