Milwaukee Brewers acquire Dustin May from St. Louis Cardinals

May, 28, has been a notable player after overcoming significant injuries and posting a 4.38 ERA over 109 innings this season. He joins the Brewers as they look to bolster their pitching rotation for a playoff push. May, who stands 6-foot-6, is known for his effective fastballs and has pitched against the Brewers previously this season, throwing a near no-hitter on May 27. His current contract is for one year at $12.5 million with a mutual option for 2027.
