Milwaukee Brewers prepare for postseason after sweeping Chicago Cubs

Following a series sweep against the Chicago Cubs, the Milwaukee Brewers hold a five-game magic number to clinch the National League Central title. The team currently maintains a two-game lead for the best record in the National League and all of Major League Baseball. Management is now coordinating the starting rotation to ensure Jacob Misiorowski and Logan Henderson remain prepared for potential opening games in the National League Division Series. While the rotation leaders are set, the status of other starters remains uncertain as Kyle Harrison, Shane Drohan, and Dustin May face performance or workload concerns. The Brewers face five remaining three-game series against the Reds, Pirates, Orioles, Phillies, and Cardinals to finalize their playoff positioning. The organization is prioritizing regular rest and strategic scheduling to secure a first-round bye in the upcoming postseason.
