Milwaukee Bucks draft Malique Lewis after acquiring second-round pick

The Milwaukee Bucks acquired the No. 60 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft through a three-team trade involving Washington and Orlando, selecting Malique Lewis. The Bucks sent cash to Orlando to secure the last pick of the draft. Lewis, a 6-foot-8 guard, played for the South East Melbourne Phoenix, averaging 7.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last season. Despite past health issues, he was cleared by the NBA's fitness-to-play panel. Earlier in the draft, the Bucks selected Brayden Burries and Nate Ament, with Ament's rights tied to an upcoming trade involving Giannis Antetokounmpo that will finalize on July 6.
