Milwaukee Bucks rookie Nate Ament prepares for the 2026-27 NBA season

Milwaukee Bucks forward Nate Ament is entering his first NBA season after being selected 13th overall in the 2026 draft. Ament spent one season at Tennessee where he earned All-SEC second-team honors while averaging 16.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He set a program mark for freshmen with 584 points and recorded 11 games with at least 20 points. During the summer league, he averaged 11.2 points across five appearances, including a 23-point performance. The 6-foot-10 forward also brings international experience, having won a gold medal with USA Basketball at the 2024 FIBA U18 Americas Championship in Argentina. Ament originally played soccer during his youth and is an avid golfer who recently played with Bryson DeChambeau.
