Milwaukee Bucks select Nate Ament with 13th pick in NBA Draft

The Milwaukee Bucks selected Nate Ament from Tennessee with the 13th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft on June 23. Ament, a 6-foot-10 forward, earned All-SEC honors during his freshman season, averaging 16.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. The pick marks the first lottery selection during Rick Barnes' tenure at Tennessee and the 11th player he has produced for the NBA. Ament's skill set has drawn comparisons to Kevin Durant, particularly for his shooting ability and defensive potential. His development in long-range shooting will be critical as he transitions to the professional level.
