Minnesota Athletic Director Mark Coyle has signed a two-year extension to his contract, keeping him with the Gophers through June 2032. The Minnesota Board of Regents approved the extension, which increases his base salary to $2 million for the upcoming year, with a $100,000 raise in subsequent years. Coyle, now in his 10th year in the role, has overseen significant academic achievements for Gopher student-athletes, including a school record cumulative GPA of 3.48 in 2025-26.
