Minnesota basketball program releases 2026-27 nonconference schedule

The Minnesota men’s basketball team announced a 2026-27 nonconference schedule that includes five games against power conference opponents. The program opens with an exhibition against Omaha on October 15 at The Barn, followed by an October 23 road contest at Creighton. Regular season play features notable matchups against Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, SMU, California, and Utah. The Gophers are scheduled to face Oklahoma State and Utah during the Charleston Classic, while the game against California is set for the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls. The schedule also includes the first Division I matchup between Minnesota and St. Thomas.
