Minnesota Timberwolves hire former New York Knicks assistant Daniel Brady

The Minnesota Timberwolves have added Daniel Brady to the coaching staff under head coach Chris Finch. Brady joins the organization following a three-year stint with the New York Knicks, where he contributed to two Eastern Conference Semifinals runs. His resume also includes coaching experience with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Oklahoma City Blue, along with video coordination roles for the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets. The Timberwolves look to build on their roster, which features Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, and Jaden McDaniels, as they aim for the franchise’s first NBA championship. Brady will begin working with the staff immediately as the team prepares for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
