Minnesota Vikings keep Dillon Bell on 53-man roster

The Minnesota Vikings added undrafted rookie wide receiver Dillon Bell to their initial 53-man roster as of August 30. Bell secured a spot following a preseason performance that included nine catches for 86 yards across three games. The decision to retain the receiver required the team to release running back Zavier Scott. While initial roster projections from team insiders had placed Bell on the bubble, his ability to operate in space and contribute on gadget plays eventually solidified his role.
