The Minnesota Vikings added running back DeeJay Dallas to their practice squad on Wednesday. This move follows the team’s recent efforts to refine its roster after the initial 53-man squad was set earlier this week. Dallas, 27, joins the organization after previous stints with the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, and Jacksonville Jaguars. The signing reunites Dallas with Vikings general manager Nolan Teasley, who served as the Seattle Seahawks' director of pro personnel when the running back was drafted in 2020. Beyond his work as a ball carrier, Dallas has recorded 64 receptions and maintains a 25.3-yard average on kick returns. He replaces Zavier Scott on the practice squad following Scott’s departure to the Chicago Bears.
