Minnesota volleyball splits opening weekend matches against ranked opponents

The squad rebounded on Saturday, securing a 3-0 sweep against #12 Creighton to conclude the event. Minnesota played both matches while shorthanded, as key contributors Calissa Minatee and Alex Acevedo remained sidelined with injuries. The Gophers now prepare for the Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge in Madison, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. They are set to face #17 Florida in their first match of the challenge.
