Mirra Andreeva earns first Grand Slam title at Roland Garros

Mirra Andreeva won her first Grand Slam title at Roland Garros by defeating Maja Chwalinska in the final in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. The match began with a tense start as both players struggled to hold serve, but Andreeva took control after the initial games. At just 19 years old, Andreeva became the youngest women's singles champion at Roland Garros since Monica Seles in 1992. This victory allows her to match Iga Swiatek's record of having two titles before turning 20, having won 18 of her first 20 matches at the tournament. Andreeva is now the third-youngest women's Grand Slam champion of this century, behind Emma Raducanu and Maria Sharapova.
