Mississippi State announces plans for 2026 Diamond Dawg Classic

Mississippi State baseball will host the second annual Diamond Dawg Classic at Dudy Noble Field on November 6, 2026. The alumni game will feature Team Thunder against Team Lightning, with Will Clark managing Team Thunder and Rafael Palmeiro managing Team Lightning. Team Thunder's captain will be Jake Mangum and Team Lightning's coach will be Tanner Allen. Tickets for the game go on sale July 27. Last year's event drew a crowd of over 10,000 spectators, showcasing several former Mississippi State players.
