Mississippi State baseball shifts Parker and Milewski to new positions this fall

Mississippi State baseball's Jacob Parker and Kevin Milewski will experiment with new positions during fall practices. Coach Brian O'Connor announced that Parker will play center field, and Milewski will take over at first base for the initial fall scrimmage on September 18. The changes follow the departures of center fielder Bryce Chance and first baseman Reed Stallman from last season. Parker, a former freshman All-American, has experience in center field from high school, while Milewski, who returns after not being drafted, has improved at first base. The Bulldogs have nine public scrimmages scheduled at Dudy Noble Field this fall.
