Missouri football ranked No. 25 in preseason US LBM Coaches Poll

Missouri football has been ranked No. 25 in the preseason US LBM Coaches Poll released August 4, 2026. This marks the second occasion under head coach Eli Drinkwitz that the Tigers will start a season ranked, after opening at No. 25 in 2024. Last season, Missouri finished unranked with an 8-5 record, including a loss in the Gator Bowl. Ohio State tops the poll, followed by Oregon and Georgia. Missouri will have to face five of the top-10 teams during the upcoming season, including Texas A&M and Alabama.
