Missouri State basketball has announced the commitment of J’Dyn Lloyd, a 6-4 guard from Belleville, Illinois, for its 2027 recruiting class. Lloyd, a three-star recruit, averaged 18.2 points and 4.9 rebounds last season, leading his team to a 21-10 record. His decision marks the first commitment for head coach Cunozo Martin in the 2027 class. Lloyd chose Missouri State over offers from Kennesaw State, Middle Tennessee, and other programs. He had been identified early by Martin, receiving an offer in July 2025.
