Missouri State hosts Kennesaw State in search of first FBS win

Missouri State (1-4, 0-1 CUSA) plays Kennesaw State (1-4, 0-1) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13. Both teams seek their first victory against an FBS opponent this season. Missouri State is focused on improving execution and balancing its offense, particularly the rushing attack. Kennesaw State lost its last game 27-26 to Jacksonville State despite holding leads. Head coach Casey Woods emphasizes the importance of executing plays effectively, especially against Kennesaw’s dual-threat quarterback Rickie Collins. Missouri State’s defense needs to contain Collins, who leads his team in both passing and rushing yards.
