Missouri throwers prepare for NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene

Three athletes from the University of Missouri are set to compete in the NCAA Outdoor Championship Finals from June 10-11 in Eugene, Oregon. Valentina Barrios and Skylar Ciccolini will participate in the women's javelin on June 11, while Sam Innes will compete in the men's hammer throw on June 10. Barrios arrives at the event as the defending champion and recently won the SEC Outdoor Championship with a throw of 57.35 meters. Innes ranked No. 9 nationally in hammer throw, aims to make a strong showing against tough competition, including athletes from top-ranked schools. The championships will take place at Hayward Field, which features state-of-the-art facilities and a storied history in track and field events.
