The Missouri Valley Conference has confirmed that the women’s basketball tournament will relocate to St. Louis starting in 2027. This change comes as part of the newly established unified format for both men's and women's tournaments, which features a 10-team bracket. The women’s tournament was previously held in Coralville. The new structure grants byes to the top two seeds, advancing them directly to the semifinals. The tournaments will take place in the same week, culminating in championship games on March 7.
