Mitchell Christian volleyball program continues rebuilding for 2026 season

VolleyballMitchell Christian School will field a varsity volleyball team for the 2026 season after resuming play in 2025. The Golden Eagles, who had a varsity team dormant from 2022 to 2024, are prepared for an expanded schedule this fall, featuring 12 matches and several tournaments. First-year head coach Kristen Gillen highlighted the team's growing roster, with 19 girls participating across different levels, including six returning letterwinners from last season. The team aims to build a positive culture and improve on a 1-6 record from their abbreviated schedule last year. Their season opens with a road match at Burke on August 27.
