Mitchell Tinsley signs with the Houston Texans practice squad

Wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley signed with the Houston Texans practice squad on Sunday. Tinsley previously played for the Cincinnati Bengals, who released him during final roster cuts over the weekend. The Bengals intended to re-sign Tinsley to their own practice squad but were unable to secure him. Competition for roster spots increased in Cincinnati due to the performance of rookie Colbie Young and the emergence of Dohnte Meyers. Tinsley spent the past two preseasons with the Bengals and appeared in regular season offensive sets. He now joins the Texans organization to continue his career.
