Mizzou cross country prepares for 2026 season with healthy roster

Summary

Missouri's cross country teams are set to begin the 2026 season with their first official practice next week. Head coach Kyle Levermore highlighted the team's healthy roster and returning experience, which he believes can elevate the program's performance after last year's achievements. He emphasized that returning athletes have learned what it takes to compete at a national level, marking a pivotal moment for both the men's and women's squads. The Tigers aim to improve on last year's outcomes by targeting top-three finishes in the SEC and dual qualifications for nationals for the first time in 27 years.
