Mizzou signs Alexandra-Irina Anghel for 2026-27 tennis season

Missouri women’s tennis has signed Romanian freshman Alexandra-Irina Anghel for the 2026-27 season. Anghel brings notable professional experience, holding a career-high Women's Tennis Association ranking of No. 530 in doubles and No. 1,101 in singles. Head coach Robin Goodman praised her dedication and commitment during the recruiting process. Despite her professional background, Anghel will join the team as a true freshman with four years of eligibility remaining, aiming to contribute immediately in both singles and doubles formats.
