Mizzou women’s team wins Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Missouri

On September 25, Missouri's women's cross country team secured first place at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Missouri, with 56 points, significantly ahead of second-place Kentucky's 136 points. Monica Wanjiku led the Tigers with a fifth-place finish, recording a personal best time of 19:18.3. Alongside her, Rahel Broemmel and Suzy Lecoutre produced solid performances, achieving personal bests as well. The men's team finished sixth in their event, with Jean Kipchumba placing 12th overall. Mizzou will next compete at the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin.
