MLB analysts caution Yankees against letting Dodgers acquire Tarik Skubal

With the MLB trade deadline approaching, analysts urge the New York Yankees to act on Tarik Skubal, who has surfaced in trade talks. Skubal has a 2.79 ERA and a 7-5 record this season following elbow surgery. Experts assert that if he joins the Los Angeles Dodgers, it could hinder the Yankees’ World Series chances. The Yankees have needs in other areas but have an already strong pitching rotation. However, letting Skubal go to a rival may impede their postseason aspirations. The Yankees must weigh the decision to pursue Skubal against preserving their prospects, especially with several key players becoming free agents after this season.
