MLB broadcasters struggle with Skyline Chili-themed foods in Cincinnati

Summary

During a recent matchup between the New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park, MLB broadcasters faced unique culinary challenges. Following a limited-edition Skyline Chili egg roll featured at Citi Field earlier in the season, SNY reporter Steve Gelbs sampled a Skyline Cheese Coney. Gelbs expressed disgust over the dish and declared it the worst food he had tried during a broadcast segment. His reaction was met with laughter from teammates, while Reds' outfielder A.J. Ewing defended the dish's popularity in Cincinnati. The focus on unusual ballpark foods continues to entertain viewers and broadcasters alike.
