Piloted changes include a 15-second delivery time for pitchers with no runners on base and 18 seconds with runners. Additionally, hitters must be ready by the 8-second mark on the pitch clock. Violations lead to automatic balls or strikes, while pitchers are allowed two disengagements per plate appearance unless runners advance, allowing for greater strategy during gameplay.
