Major League Baseball announced the 2026 postseason schedule, confirming that the playoffs will commence on Tuesday, Sept. 29, with four Wild Card Series. Each best-of-three series will conclude by Thursday, Oct. 1. The Division Series will start on Saturday, Oct. 3, followed by the League Championship Series beginning no earlier than Sunday, Oct. 11.
