Moanalua captures All-State flag football honors with standout players

FootballMoanalua earned top accolades in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State flag football selections. The team, after a difficult OIA championship loss to Waianae, rallied to win four consecutive matches at the Hawaii Dental Service/HHSAA Flag Football State Championships. Jodie Keo was named Offensive Player of the Year, and IaOrana Simanu took home Defensive Player of the Year honors. Keo finished with 74 receptions for 1,436 yards and 36 touchdowns, contributing significantly to Moanalua's success. Simanu not only excelled on defense with 13 interceptions but also made a substantial impact on offense with 65 receptions and 18 touchdowns.
