Mohamed Abdelmonem returns to OGC Nice from Egypt national team setup

Mohamed Abdelmonem has left the Egyptian national team to return to OGC Nice, as confirmed on October 1. The decision was made as a precaution due to concerns over the synthetic pitch where Egypt was set to play, especially considering Abdelmonem's recent injury history. He previously missed much of the last season due to an ACL injury and later dealt with an ankle injury. Nice thanked the Egyptian national team for releasing him, allowing Abdelmonem to prepare for their next Ligue 1 match against RC Strasbourg Alsace on October 11.
