Mohammed Shami and Mukesh Kumar tighten East Zone grip on Duleep Trophy

Mohammed Shami and Mukesh Kumar took four wickets combined to place East Zone in a dominant position during the third day of the Duleep Trophy final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. After East Zone posted a first-innings total of 708, South Zone concluded the day at 242-6. The pair utilized reverse swing on a flat surface to restrict the South Zone scoring rate. Shikhar Mohan also contributed by claiming his maiden first-class wicket after regular spinner Anukul Roy was sidelined with a hand injury. Tilak Varma remained unbeaten on 56 as South Zone trails by 466 runs heading into the final stages of the match.
