Mohit Sharma will join Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as the bowling coach starting next season. The announcement was made by CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan and was recommended by head coach Zaheer Khan. Mohit, a former India bowler, previously played for CSK, and he replaces Eric Simmons in this role. His IPL career includes stints with the Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans, where he found success with 41 wickets in two seasons. Mohit announced his retirement from professional cricket in December 2025 after a remarkable career, including being a part of the Indian squad during the 2015 World Cup and winning the Purple Cap in 2014.
