Montez Sweat prepares for challenging training camp under Ben Johnson

Montez Sweat of the Chicago Bears reflects on a tough training camp experience last year under head coach Ben Johnson. Ahead of the upcoming camp beginning in late July, Sweat anticipates another intense regimen, stating, "I’m expecting the worst." Johnson's rigorous training methodology has been credited with helping the Bears improve significantly, turning from last place to first during the 2025 season. Sweat believes this approach, though challenging, leads to successful outcomes and is ready for demanding practices amid the summer heat.
