Monza adds Jan Ziolkowski while pursuing Exequiel Zeballos and Victor Nelsson

Serie A club Monza is finalizing additions to its roster in the closing hours of the transfer window following two opening losses under coach Ivan Juric. The team officially signed defender Jan Ziolkowski from Roma on a loan agreement that includes an €18m option to buy and a 10 percent sell-on clause. Negotiations are reportedly underway for Boca Juniors forward Exequiel Zeballos in a deal valued at €4m with the Argentine club retaining a 40 percent interest in future sales. Zeballos is expected in Italy for a medical examination tonight. Additionally, the club is in advanced discussions to sign defender Victor Nelsson from Galatasaray. Nelsson previously played in Italy for Roma and Verona. Monza is seeking to bolster its squad after a difficult start to the current campaign.
