Monza revives interest in Lazio full-back Manuel Lazzari amid squad changes

Summary

Monza has renewed interest in signing Lazio right-back Manuel Lazzari, who is no longer a first-choice player at Lazio. The 32-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under coach Gennaro Gattuso, with the team opting for younger talent like Romano Floriani Mussolini. Previously, Sassuolo showed interest in Lazzari but have now shifted their focus to Rafik Belghali of Hellas Verona. With Lazzari's contract expiring at the end of the season, he is expected to be available for a modest transfer fee. Lazzari is considering the latest offer from Monza as the transfer deadline approaches.
